Lovely Somethings was born in 2009, after owner, Liz Scott, decided to pursue her passion for paper and the resulting joy from designing her friends’ wedding invitations. The loveliness came to full fruition in October 2014, with the opening of the brick and mortar Lovely Somethings shop. 2018 brought about a major change in the addition of the upstairs Lovely Somethings Loft. The Loft gives more room to spread out for wedding invitation consultations, workshops and a dedicated design studio space.

Also known as Mom – but she prefers Chief – allison@lovelysomethings.com
Known for : taking terribly awkward selfies

Her “go-mode” is a true blessing for Lovely Somethings. Even though she abandons the shop every winter to spend the season in Florida, she is just a phone call/text/face time/messenger away to solve inventory and price tag issues, complete with multiple emojis on her new best friend, her iPhone.
Husband : Jim  |  Pets : does Grandma count? and 2 cement dogs in the garden

Also known as The Girl with the Green Hair – lauren@lovelysomethings.com
Known for : oh wait, her green hair and her thankfully obsessive cleaning

With her degree from The University of Akron in Communications, Lauren will definitely help you with what to write inside of our blank cards. Lauren kinda rocks too…she’s the bass player in a local band.
Husband : still looking for the right dude 😉 |  Pets : Macy the raddest White Lab

Also known as Little Niki – niki@lovelysomethings.com
Known for : always snacking!

Another Kent State University Visual Communication Design grad, Niki brings her creative edge, especially with her delightful illustrations to the LS mix. Outside of work you can find her exploring Cleveland and working even more.
Husband : he’s out there somewhere 😉 |  Pets : Felix, a lovable, smushed faced black cat
