Paper boutique Lovely Somethings opens in Bath

BATH — Modern paper boutique Lovely Somethings is now open in Ghent Square, 843 N. Cleveland-Massillon Road, with a selection of greeting cards, note cards, gift wrap, accessories, office goods and more.

Owner Liz Scott is a local graphic artist whose clients include Don Drumm Studios, Graf Growers Garden Center and Swenson’s, she said. Scott designs and creates custom wedding invitations, baby announcements, holiday greeting cards and more. Scott said her designs are unique and capture the essence of the customer she is working with.

“I have been designing friends’ wedding invites for years, and opening Lovely Somethings has allowed me to produce even more beautiful and tactile pieces,” Scott said. “Being able to use my art background and physically creating unique items for happy experiences has been inspiring.”

Lovely Somethings is now taking orders for customized items for Christmas. Scott said orders should be placed by Dec. 2 to avoid rush fees before the holidays.

Scott, who grew up in Akron and is now a Bath resident, said she plans to host calligraphy, wedding etiquette and other paper-goods-related classes and workshops in the upcoming year.

“As a new shop owner, I am looking forward to helping newly engaged couples, families and local residents create pieces for the special moments in their lives,” she said.

Lovely Somethings is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments and consultations can be made by calling 330-376-1677. For more information or to order products online, visit LovelySomethings.com.
